Who we are
Bridgewater Sports & Social Club Inc. ("BSSC", "we", "us") is a community-run, not-for-profit incorporated association based in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. We can be contacted at bridgewatersportssocialclub@gmail.com.
What we collect
We only collect the information you provide directly to us, including:
- Your name, email and (optionally) phone number when you submit a hall hire enquiry or contact form;
- Any details you include in the body of an enquiry, such as event date, attendee numbers and purpose;
- Your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter;
- Account information (email, name) if you sign in as a club member, committee or club representative.
How we use it
We use your information solely to:
- Respond to your enquiry or message;
- Confirm and manage hall bookings;
- Send the newsletter you subscribed to (you can unsubscribe at any time);
- Operate and improve the website.
We do not sell or trade your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for marketing.
Where it's stored
Submissions are stored in our secure backend (Supabase, hosted on Amazon Web Services in Sydney). Email is delivered via our managed email infrastructure on the notify.bridgewaterssc.org subdomain.
Cookies & analytics
We use only the essential cookies required to keep you signed in. We don't run third-party advertising trackers. Privacy-respecting analytics may be added in the future and disclosed here.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct anything that's wrong;
- Delete your account or remove a past enquiry from our records.
Just email bridgewatersportssocialclub@gmail.com and we'll action it within a reasonable timeframe.
Children
Our website is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
